H.H. Shaikh Ahmed Al Qasimi
H.H. Shaikh Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Born in 1948 in Sharjah and is one of the sons of former Ruler of Sharjah, Shaikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
After completion of his Education in Sharjah and Cambridge University in London he has been appointed as Chairman of Passport and Emigration Authority.
Subsequent to formation of Federation of UAE Government he has been elected to the post of as Minister of Justice in the first UAE Government Ministerial formation, a post occupied until 1977, and occupied the position as Minister of State in the third ministerial formation until 1990
He was the Chairman of Sharjah Petroleum and Mineral Department (present Sharjah Petroleum Council) since December 1, 1980 and held the position as Chairman of Sharjah LPG Company (Shalco) since 1984 until it was incorporated to Sharjah National Oil Corporation.
He was also the honorary chairman of Danagas in Sharjah.
He has been appointed as Deputy Ruler of Emirate of Sharjah in June 30, 1990
