The Petroleum and Minerals Department was established in Sharjah.
The Petroleum Council was constituted to govern all offices, specialists, organizations, and organizations working in the Emirates Petroleum field. It will be committed to executing the Council’s decision to ensure the accomplishment of the targets for which it is set.
The petroleum council is constituted in 1972 as substituting the department of oil & minerals by Amiri Decree. The council is in charge of all the operations of the department.
